I am Matt Keyes, founder of Key Partner Solutions and a devoted husband of 26 years and proud father of two daughters. By day, I’m a software and solution architect, developer, and business owner. In my downtime, you’ll find me enjoying time with my family and the outdoors – whether it’s mountain biking, hiking, or camping. I am also an avid reader whose guilty pleasures include history, sci-fi, fantasy, and quantum physics. My technology journey started when I began working with Microsoft software as a child of the 80s where I cut my teeth optimizing my parents’ IBM PC to squeeze out every last bit of speed for my DOS-based computer games. Fast forwarding to the year 2000, I began my career in the midst of the tech boom landing a job as a junior network architect. Through mentorship and management’s faith in me, that experience taught me valuable skills in software development, architecture, solutions, and launched my software career as a core developer for an oil and gas software company. I was blessed with starting a family at that time as well. I also yearned for more than just code; I wanted the chance to help people and to tackle real-world challenges. I moved into ERP software to get closer to that desire and work directly with customers. Graduating with an MBA degree at about the same time– including a full-time semester while helping to raise two toddlers when fully employed–I was able to merge my technical knowledge of software directly with my customers’ needs and articulate those solutions in a way that made sense. Now, I was really able to make an impact. Working with clients and Microsoft software allows me to continue to pursue my passion for helping clients by solving business challenges with the latest Microsoft software as we adventure into the future with business technology. One thing’s for sure: Life is all about balance. For me, that means embracing challenges, making a meaningful impact, and cherishing the serenity of nature and the warmth of my family.

Hi, I’m Terri Marello, President of Key Partner Solutions. I had a very different start in my career doing research and development in Clinical Diagnostics. This gave me some great experiences that have carried with me as background into my current role. I worked with McDonnel Douglas to create a miniature bacterial identification kit to go up in the Space Shuttle. I was also able to work with Scripps Institute to identify micro-organisms at the bottom of the ocean floor. During this time, I was honored to publish in scientific journals and co-write a scientific manual. These early experiences allowed me to use my creative abilities for problem solving. It also allowed me to become involved in tech, creating unique algorithms to identify bacteria and create custom software solutions for usage by end customers and internal systems. At the time there were not software solutions that covered the regulatory requirements of Diagnostics companies, so my partner and I created a custom full end-to-end ERP using FileMaker. That led to a change in my career to more of an operational role and I continued to implement processes and systems for growing companies in the areas of Manufacturing, Retail, and the newly emerging e-Commerce market. After winning a Microsoft Pinnacle award for creative solutions integrating Navision, e-Commerce, and Retail, I was asked to join the consulting world and gladly took the next step in my career. Bringing these experiences with me has allowed me to see a project from a customer’s perspective and create processes and solutions that meet an individual company’s needs and capture the uniqueness of their success into processes and solutions. Personally, I am a proud mother of two fabulous sons and grandmother of two granddaughters that I am blessed to be able to spend quite a bit of time with. In my free time I love to spend time in my garden or going to see live music.
